Elliot Speller-Gillott

 

 

Elliot is a talented young actor, musician, composer, songwriter and budding filmmaker.  He most recently played Ky in the feature film ‘Days of The Bagnold Summer’, directing debut of Simon Bird (‘Inbetweeners’ & ‘Friday Night Dinner’), currently in post-production.

Elliot’s previous leading role was 'Errol' in BBC3's comedy series 'UNCLE' - for 3 seasons on BBC3 iPlayer and now available to watch on Netflix!

Elliot's credits so far also include Harry Enfield & Paul Whitehouse's 'History of the Twos' for BBC2 (playing Harry Potter), a Hyundai commercial (lead), short film 'The Caterpillar & Fly' (Oscar), Alvedon commercial (lead) and Holby City (Sami) for BBC1.

Uncle is a comedy about Andy (Nick Helm), a dissolute out-of work musician who forges an unlikely alliance with his 12-year-old nephew Errol (Elliot Speller-Gillott) after being morally blackmailed into looking after him by his chaotic sister Sam (Daisy Haggard) - all on the day Andy was planning to kill himself. (Series 1 synopsis).

Not a natural with either kids or responsibility, he tries to keep his new charge out of trouble while being knee-deep in it himself.
